This high quality bipolar antenna describes the Cisco Aironet and provides specifications and installation instructions. This antenna operates in the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequency bands and is designed for use with Cisco Aironet 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz radio products that use dual band TNC ports (RP-TNC ) with reversed polarity. The nominal gain of a 2 dBi antenna is in the 2.4 GHz frequency band and 4 dBi in the 5 GHz frequency band. The AIR-ANT2524Dx-R antennas discussed in this document are electrically similar, but differ physically due to the alarm color indicated by the product part number in Table 1. The AIR-ANT2524DW-RS antenna contains independent circuits.
